We are launching our NEW Social Justice Fellowship Program! Our Social Justice Fellowship (SJF) program is designed to help (6) young Indigenous people ages 18-30 gain more insight on community engagement, policy change, climate adaptation, cultural preservation, and the protection of sacred sites. Our inaugural SJFs will be taking a closer look at uranium mining in McKinley County.
Our ultimate goal is to help create policy change for a uranium free county and begin the conversation and awareness among young people and families about the effects of uranium mining. ****Each participate will receive a monetary incentives.

We are also looking for community members, organizations, or local leaders to participate as presenters for the training program. Topics include: Policy change, environmental law, organizing 101, direct actions, uranium mining (history/personal experiences), environmental racism.**** Each presenter will receive a monetary incentive. All workshops will be scheduled on weekends starting August-November 2019.
